Striker To Get Cobblers Second Chance?

Going into the weekend Emile Sinclair was heading for the Sixfields exit, at least he was informed that he was free to head that way....

Cheltenham Town had been credited with an interest and he could have signed them on loan this week perhaps?

Following his dramatic injury-time equaliser against Shrewsbury Town on Saturday afternoon in the one-one draw at Sixfields Chris Wilder has suggested that his future is now with the Cobblers afterall.

Injuries to others have also opened the door but, as the boss knows, things can change quickly in football and his goal on Saturday, coupled with the injuries, have seen the picture change and it isn't likely that the former Peterborough United striker will be leaving just yet.

Sinclair's ability isn't ever in doubt, one thing that sometimes is though is his application and commitment, if he gets those right he'll go on to have a big future with the club.
