Wilder Moyo Has A Bright Future

Wilder Moyo Has A Bright Future

Three-year contracts have been the order of the day for Northampton this summer, however David Moyo has broken this trend but the teenager has committed his future to the club.

19-year-old Moyo signed a new one-year contract earlier this week that will keep him at Sixfields until the end of the 2014/15 season, at least.

Chris Wilder is sure that there's 'more to come' from the striker and with some work on his 'skills' and 'technical ability' he should be quite impressive over the next 12-months.

The Cobblers boss told the official website: 'We feel David has got a bright future.

'There is more to come from him than supporters may have seen so far.

'He's got pace which is frightening but we need to work on his skills and his technical ability.'

Moyo is Zimbabwean born but is a product of the Northampton academy. Since making his debut in 2012 he's managed 13 first-team appearances, which he would be expecting to at least double next season you'd expect?
