'If It's Football, It's Vital'

They're Not Unbeatable

It doesn't get any easier for Northampton does it! Next up we face highflying Fleetwood.

The favourites for the points at Sixfields tomorrow will be, lets be honest, Fleetwood but why both playing if we've already accepted a defeat!

Aidy Boothroyd knows what a task awaits us but thinks that we should have some confidence going into this following our FA cup win last weekend and wants the momentum from that taken forward into this league two meeting.

Clearly he knows the Cod Army are top for a reason but they're not unbeatable, he told BBC Radio Northampton: 'Fleetwood are where they are for a reason. They are a good outfit.
'They're not unbeatable, but certainly a very good team.

'Generally the top three and the chasing pack are out and away by now. But we've still got time.

'The most important thing for us right now is to focus on the next game and make sure we build on a very good result and performance at Bishop's Stortford.'

Ben Tozer is the favourite to come into the starting XI in place of Lee Collins (suspension) with several others out through injury, some long-term.

Stuart Dallas wasn't allowed to play for us in the FA cup last weekend, as Brentford denied us permission, however he can and almost certainly will be back on Saturday.

We'd love to know here at Vital Northampton what way you see this game going, so do cast a vote in the poll to your right...

Me? I'm going to be confident and go for a home win!
