Torquay Midfielder Signs Up

Northampton might have lost two players but they've at least brought in one following Ian Morris' arrival.

The midfielder was snapped up from Torquay, where he was out of contract.

Aidy Boothroyd has followed Morris' career and is happy to bring him in, he said: 'He has always impressed me when I have seen him and I am pleased we have been able to bring him to the club.

'Ian is a very good player and I have followed his career closely.

'He is a winner, he has already won three promotions in his career and he has experience of playing in the Championship, League One and League Two.'

Hopefully with the help of Morris, who can occupy a number of different positions so his versatility could be very useful, Northampton can go one step further next season and gain promotion again, which would be his fourth promotion!
