Seven Could Stay But Seven Go

Northampton have announced their retained, and released, lists following the season ending.

Adebayo Akinfenwa's Tweets that he was off have proven true, with him one of seven released at the end of his contract.

Joining the striker in leaving Sixfields will be John Johnson, Louis Moult, Jake Robinson, Lewis Wilson, Paul Turnbull and Seth Nana Twumasi.

However seven players have also been offered fresh terms, they are Lee Collins, Luke Guttridge, Ben Tozer, Ben Harding, Roy O'Donovan and Nathan Cameron (who was on loan at Northampton but has been released by Coventry).

All being well most, if not all, offered new deals will sign them as Kelvin Langmead did when he agreed a new two-year deal.
