Automatic Cobblers Hopes Dashed

Wycombe 0-0 Northampton
16th April 2013
Adams Park

Northampton made it four games without a goal, and are now four-points off the automatic promotion spots following a draw at Wycombe.

Roy O'Donovan came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half, with the Northampton loanee coming close with a header after the break too.

Adebayo Akinfenwa then came closest of all; his looping header looking like it would go in but it came back off the bar with Northampton unable to break the deadlock they so desperately needed to as the game ended 0-0.
