Charles Leaves Cobblers For Plymouth

Anthony Charles had been told that he didn't have a future with Northampton so it was eventually decided (on Thursday) that it was best that both parties parted now.

It was mutually agreed that the defender should move on immediately, as opposed to waiting until the summer, and within hours of moving on he found himself a new club.

The 31-year-old has been snapped up by League Two rivals Plymouth until the end of the season.
