Cobblers keeper in England call

Northampton continue to produce top class keeper, Dean Snedker is the latest of them.

The 18-year-old was invited to an England training squad for talented young goalkeepers so, along with John Sutherland (Man Utd), Angus Gunn (Man City) Alex Palmer (West Brom) and Luke Coddington (Middlesbrough), would be assessed by coaches Martin Thomas and Simon Smith.

What a boost this is to Snedker and The Cobblers. He looks like he will be following in the footsteps of former Northampton keeper Mark Bunn (who is now playing in the Premier League for Norwich, having left The Cobblers to sign for then Premier League side Blackburn) in looking likely to be a top keeper.
