The weather, that had hit so many games in leagues one and two, threatened the Northampton game against Aldershot at Sixfields on Saturday. However, the game went ahead and it was The Cobblers that won!
Northampton had by far the better of the first half efforts but the deadlock wasn't broken.
Within minutes of the restart though The Cobblers went ahead when Jake Robinson (49) scored with a 2-0 win secured by the hosts when Clive Platt (90+4) wrapped up the points deep into injury-time.
