Orient condemn Northampton to JPT exit

The Johnstone's Paint Trophy dreams that Northampton had ended on Wednesday night when they suffered a Sixfields exit at the hands of Leyton Orient.

Northampton had the better of the chances in the first half but without a breakthrough from either side they went into the break level.

Within 20-minutes of the restart though the league one side were two-nil up with a quick fire double from Dave Mooney (57 & 65) putting Orient in control.

Orient confirmed their place in the southern area semi final with a Michael Symes (73) giving them a 3-0 win.
